| Welcome to High and Dry Bluegrass Festival Web Site
WOW WHEEEE! We have enjoyed the fourth High and Dry Bluegrass Festival in beautiful Bend, Oregon at the home of Runway Ranch. The hosts, John and Nancy Hancock and the HADBF Staff, want all who volunteered, sponsored and attended the festival to know how thankful we are for your hard work, support and dedication.
From the Hosts, John and Nancy Hancock; "To all of our amazing musician friends, volunteers, listeners and supporters,
We have never done anything in our lives that has impacted us as a family as much the High & Dry Bluegrass Festival. That an informal jam session could spawn such a magical event is an overwhelming testimonial to the love of music, friends, community, hard work and perseverance. We are nothing without all of you. Many, many thanks for all your help in making this the stellar event that it is.
Mark your calendars for August 19, 20 & 21, 2011.....!
Sincerely, The Hancock Family"
Regarding the Volunteers, Staff member Rebecca "Becky" Brown said it best; "To the fabulous, hard working High and Dry volunteers:
You are the best part of the High and Dry effort. The festival couldn't happen without you. The 2010 High and Dry Bluegrass Festival, wonderful as it was, is history except for the glow from spending the weekend immersed in music and community--that joy lingers. Guests from other places (Florida to California to Washington to Canada) commented frequently on the beauty of the setting and the great music. They commented just as frequently on how smoothly the festival ran and always on the friendly, warm community feeling.
Thank you, each of you, for making it happen that way. With deepest gratitude, Becky"
Everyone that attended and participated in this years High and Dry Festival deserves a heartfelt "Thank You" without you this would not have been one of the best Bluegrass weekends of the year. High and Dry Bluegrass Festival is supported in part by local businesses and interested citizens who share our_vision to assure that this American classic music is available to today’s generation and to future generations.
